Charming older buildings, tho we slept in the newer annex and the room was large as was the bathroom! two adults and one 24-yr old.
No -- owner most accomodating and charming, good reccomendation for dinner, etc. Located on the edge of Arromanches, which is on Gold Beach, D-Day landing site for the Brits.

I loved the immaculate and spacious rooms, perfectly decorated and very comfortable. The bed felt luxurious with its quality linens, and the pillows provided an excellent night's sleep. The location was a major plus, just a 10-minute walk to Arromanches town center and the beach. The terrace was a lovely spot for evening drinks. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of choices. The absence of an on-site restaurant limited our dining options, forcing us to walk into town. Fortunately, the staff were friendly and provided assistance with our bags. The hotel definitely could use clearer signage and info about the dining arrangements upfront, as it would help manage expectations better.

Location ; in the middle of the " D-Day " coast. Typical small French hotel . The slightly old fashioned querkyness is a pleasant contrast to the bland modern chains. The proprietor and staff were polite, pleasant and efficient. On leaving we were presented with a complimentary bottle of Bayeux cider.
The rooms are small but we knew this before we booked so no cause for complaint. In fact, we booked a double but were given a triple.

The service was good as was the breakfast served in the salon.
The room however was poorly cleaned and the toilet did not function properly.

Stayed here for a week as a base for visiting this area of Normandy and the d Day beaches. Location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Arromanche is perfect. Our room with a small balcony overlooking the small town, the bay and beyond to the cliffs was bright, clean and comfortable in a typically 'French country house' style. Continental breakfast is served in a pleasant dining room. Well kept gardens and very good parking.

Hotel was very close to the centre of town and motor bikes were accepted without problem
Not sure it should be called a hotel. It was more like a bed and breakfast since there was no common area, such as a lounge, for guests and no restaurant serving evening meals and no bar.

A Cozy Retreat with Fine Views
The inviting staff enhanced our experience. Walk to the charming boulangerie for pastries instead of breakfast. A nightcap of kir Normand by the poolside added a good touch. Bring a fan during warmer months!

The continental breakfast was very good value for money. The breakfast room was light with good views. The service was very friendly and attentive. The hotel had plenty of car parking space. A good base to explore Calvados. There was plenty of space in the front garden for relaxing in the fresh air. The building was beautiful and can be seen from the other side of Arromanches.
